Statement

I am a Plein Air painter. I consider myself an instrument. The paintings are already there. During my walks it looks to me they are calling me and my mission is just to put them on a canvas. Creating is most of all a spiritual experience which helps me to discover every day more of myself and to see things most of the time we cannot see because we are taken by our every day worries and thoughts. Buildings, architecture especially of cities like San Francisco, Old Italian towns, or tropical houses in Hawaii attract me. Like the Impressionists I paint on location to fully capture the moment and the sensations related to the place.
